YKK (Yoshida Kogyo Kabushikikaisha) is the trusted standard for high quality, durable zippers. All our bags use YKK zippers for added reliability, and water-resistant variants can be found on select designs.
Microfiber Leather
Leather parts on our bags are made with vegan microfiber leather. Unlike the more common PU leather, microfiber leather lasts significantly longer, offers superior wear resistance and is less likely to fade, crack and peel over time if properly cared for. Though not nearly as durable as high quality genuine leather, microfiber leather does not use any animal parts, and is more resistant to stains and water damage. It also requires minimal maintenance in comparison.
Padded for Devices
Perhaps the most common Everyday Carry of a city-dweller is a digital device, be it our laptop, tablet or smart phone. With this in mind, we've ensured our bags come with a laptop compartment or pocket, and these compartments (and in some models, the entire bag body) are well padded to protect against knocks and bumps in daily commute.
